Stillwater has provided engineering services for fueling systems at emergency generator installations in many private and public sector facilities. Emergency generator fueling system designs have included aboveground and underground storage tanks systems with redundant fuel supply and return piping systems, remote-fill equipment for loading tanks, unique piping layouts with elaborate manifolds and valve configurations, duplex fuel pump packages, fuel recirculation and filtration equipment, and day-tank systems with integrated instrumentation and alarms. Designs have ranged from single 1,000-gallon ASTs with straight supply and return to a single generator, to multiple 15,000-gallon ASTs supplying fuel to banks of up to five (5) generators and including elaborate redundant piping and pump systems.
