The investigation included: Geoprobe® borings using direct push-technology for soil gas surveying, soil and groundwater sample collection, and conductivity lithologic logging; roto-sonic drilling for collecting continuous 4-inch diameter lithologic core and for setting multiple cased wells into the Floridian Aquifer; wire line rock coring of the Ocala Formation; mud rotary drilling for monitor well installation; field lithologic logging of core material; soil screening with an OVA; well development with air and submersible pumps; monitoring of temp, pH, specific conductance, NTU’s, and dissolved oxygen during development; mobile laboratory analysis of soil and groundwater samples; top of well casing elevation surveying; groundwater sample collection; physical soil testing for gradation and vertical hydraulic conductivity using constant head test; and report preparation. |
