Zellwood, FloridaStillwater was retained to conduct Post Record of Decision (ROD) construction and implementation of monitored natural attenuation. The construction phase of the project included installation of four monitoring well pairs into varying aquifers. The wells were constructed using Rotosonic drilling techniques and cores were collected and lithologically logged for identification of the intended stratigraphic units and water bearing zones. Presently the site is in the third year of an intended 15 year monitored natural attenuation (MNA) program for metals and nutrients. Stillwater’s tasks include oversight of all technical issues and field work, report preparation, groundwater modeling using Aquachem® and Visual Groundwater® proprietary software, negotiation and coordination with DEP, EPA, SJRWMD, landowners, and the client.
